exhibition concept and scenography

Anna Kaczkowska

is a stage and costume designer who works in theatre, film, exhibition design, and visual-art installation. She is a graduate of the University of Arts in Poznań, Poland, and the Art Academy of Latvia. In her work she constantly moves between different fields of stage design including festival space and other special event design. She is interested primarily in site-specific installations within the public space. Her costume project “Urban reflections” was presented during PQ 2015.

Tomasz W. Miśtura

aka Tomasz z Wójcic, is a performance artist, writer, and self-taught graphic designer based in Warsaw, Poland. He is also a founding member of performance collective 181—1. After graduating in Polish literature, he is pursuing his M.A. in The Institute of Polish Culture at the University of Warsaw. His latest research is focused on the philosophy of performance at the intersection between the origins of archives, meaning and definition of media, modern politics, and dynamics of memory. He is a passionate cook and sci-fi lover.

Elżbieta Kowalska

is a visual and interaction designer working in the fields of graphics, creative coding and interactive design. After graduating in Graphic Design and Visual Communication from (UAP) in Poznań, and Interactive Media and Performance (UAM), Poznań, she is now working on her PhD thesis focused on software study, interactive art, web activism. Lots of her interests are developed through transdisciplinary practice in Humanities / Art / Technology Research Center.

Anna Rogóż

is a stage and costume designer, and scenography student at the Academy of Fine Art in Krakow, Poland and a graduate of Digital Visual Design at Aalto University. She recently found her way into theatre design, having recently started exploring both real and virtual space.

Ewelina Lesik

is a stage and costume designer working in exhibition design and theatre. Having graduated from the Academy of Fine Art in Krakow, Poland, she is now working towards her PhD. Her research involves links between science and art, analysis of emotion, health, and mental and physical conditions of living things (both human and non-human), thus transforming this data into art. Currently she is working using a variety of media such as photography, film, sculpture, and graphics (both traditional and digital).

Piotr Brożek

is a film director having made movies about serfdom (Oblivion), gay sailors (Storm), disability (Blind filmmakers), and A Short Movie About Copyright. Graduate of Directing at the Gdynia Film School, History at UMCS, and Intermedia at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk in Grzegorz Klaman’s class, he is now a PhD student. Piotr also graduated from “Democracy & Diversity” within the Graduate Institute at The New School. He worked as assistant director in film and theatre projects: Gods by Lukasz Palkowski, Loving by Slawomir Fabicki, Faza Delta by Gabriel Gietzky, and Harce Mlodziezy Polskiej by Remigiusz Brzyk.
